Although I have no idea what they are saying, the video is darn creative. I think I have 50% of the record covers he uses.
Hahaha… this is a song I found on one of the record pool sited I belong to. This video and song is SICK!!! check it…
DJ Cheapshot has released a new mixtape entitled Jazzercidal Tendencies sponsored by the fashionable peeps True Love False Idols. The new mix includes all the signature DJ Cheapshot wordplay, along with the very best of dance-floor mash. Cheap went into another direction with this particular tape, sticking mostly with rocking electro beats over Megadudical-like remixes. He also attempts to throw in a bit of 60s classics and succeeds tremendously. This mix is hard to find and available for a limited time so make sure you cop one by myspacing his ass at myspace.com/djcheapshot.
If you haven’t heard by now, you betta aksomebody! That’s right party people DJ Vice’s album Vice Vice Baby, accompanied by a 2008 Nation-wide tour is anything far from Vanilla. The mix includes all your favorite track from the 90s on a musical scale on and beyond the billboard charts. Get the airbrushed overalls, mis-matched hiking boots, polka-dot rayon shirt, and long bangs and you yourself can feel like the Fresh Prince incarnate homie! Make sure you cop one for yourself and go to myspace.com/djvice for the latest on the 2008 tour.
It’s official. Jeezy is stupid… hahaha… man, how can you compare yourself to an Olympic legend??? I know Jeezy thinks he is (a legend), but REALITY check… you are the fad of 2008… We won’t remember you next year homie.
It’s Jeezy Week here at “Negro, Please!”
“I’m a big fan of Michael Phelps! He’s a great success. I like what he’s doing. He’s like the Young Jeezy of the swim world. I love it!” – Young Jeezy, Rolling Stone’s Rock & Roll Daily
How the hell is Young Jeezy gonna compare himself to an Olympic swimmer? Y’all know damn we...
In honor of the closing of the Olympic Games, I found this article about the five top performances of the Star-Spangled Banner. Of course I’ve heard the Jimi Hendrix and the Whitney Huston, but Marvin Gaye? It is pretty cool. Check ’em out and see what you think. If anything, this is another time-killer to search on youtube.
This is actually a really good article on original songs vs. newer (not really new) songs. It even happened in the 60’s. Taking a really good song, ie: Chubb Rock’s “Treat ’em Right” and turning it into Mary J Blige’s “Just Fine (remix) Ft. Swizz Beatz & Lil Wayne”
Of course it is harder to come up with original (beats/riffs/melody’s/etc.) these days because it has all been done before… OR is that just an easy out? I know I couldn’t come out with anything original (I’m not that artistically creative), how would i know...
This is freakin’ ridiculous. I saw the movie August Rush and it introduced me to a new way of composing and playing with a guitar. I had no idea there was a whole musical community that has made such amazing pieces. Sheck it out meng.
So my homies, The Prophets of Fire, are gettin serious about releasing their long awaited (by me at least) album. It is getting closer and closer to the election, so I thought it appropriate as well. Their songs are mostly about politics, today’s morals, and the power of voting, so the lyrics are critical to their message. Check out one of their songs and let them or me know what you think and don’t forget to VOTE!
Man, this song is ill… I guess this song will be on Nas’ new album Untitled, so I can’t wait. Untitled is in stores July 15th on Def Jam.
